What is the Facebook Pixel?

The Facebook Pixel is a small piece of code from Meta that helps you measure how people interact with your site or links — and optimize your Facebook and Instagram ads based on that data.

Once it’s added, you can:

  • Track actions (like page views or button clicks)
  • Create custom audiences for retargeting
  • Improve conversions and ad performance

Why Add It to Linksdude?

If you're using Linksdude for landing pages, bio links, or shortened URLs, the Facebook Pixel lets you:

  • Track who visits your pages
  • Send that data back to Facebook
  • Run smarter ads using that data

🔁 Perfect if you want to retarget people who clicked your links.

🔧 How to Set Up the Facebook Pixel in Linksdude

1. Go to your Meta Events Manager.

2. Click “Pixels” → Create a new Pixel (if you don’t have one yet).

3. Copy your Pixel ID (it’s a long number like 123456789012345).

4. Go to your Linksdude dashboard → Pixels.

5. Click Add Pixel → Choose Facebook Pixel.

6. Paste your Pixel ID and save.

⚠️ Important

Make sure:

  • You’re logged into the right Facebook Business account.
  • The Pixel ID is correct — don’t include spaces or other characters.
