Channel Privacy Settings
Access YouTube Studio:
- Open a web browser, go to YouTube, and log in to your account.
- Click on your profile picture in the top right corner and select “YouTube Studio”.
Navigate to Settings:
- In the left-hand menu, scroll down and click on “Settings”.
Privacy Settings:
- Click on “Channel” and then on the “Advanced settings” tab.

Upload Video:
- When uploading a video, you’ll be prompted to set the video’s visibility.
Set Video Visibility:
- Public: Anyone can search for and view.

- Private: Only you and people you choose can view.
- Scheduled: Set to public at a scheduled time.
Change Existing Video Privacy Settings:
- Go to YouTube Studio.
- In the left-hand menu, click on “Content”.
- Find the video you want to edit, click on the visibility setting next to it, and choose your desired privacy option.
2. Adjusting Comment Settings
Navigate to YouTube Studio:
- Log in to your account and go to YouTube Studio.
Access Comment Settings:
- In the left-hand menu, click on “Settings”.
- Go to the “Community” tab and then the “Defaults” sub-tab.
Set Comment Visibility:
- Choose whether you want to allow all comments, hold potentially inappropriate comments for review, hold all comments for review, or disable comments.

Manage Subscriptions:
- Click on your profile picture in the top right corner and select “Settings”.

Block Users:
- Go to the profile of the user you want to block.
- Click on the three dots on their profile page and select “Block user”.
Report Inappropriate Content:
- Click on the three dots next to a video or comment and select “Report”.

Access Google Account Settings:
- Go to your Google Account by clicking on your profile picture and selecting “Manage your Google Account”.

- Navigate to the “Data & personalization” tab.
