How to Recover a Hacked Instagram Account

1. Check Your Email for a Security Notification

• Instagram often sends an email to the associated email address if your account's email was changed. Look for an email from Instagram with the subject "Email Changed on Instagram" or "Instagram Email Changed".
• If you received this email and didn't change your email, you can revert this change by selecting the revert this change link in the email.

2. Request a Login Link from Instagram

• On the login page, tap Forgot password? (iOS) or Get help logging in (Android).
• Enter your username, email address, or phone number associated with your account, then tap Next.
