Considerations Before Deleting
- Download Your Information: Before deleting your account, you may want to download a copy of your Facebook data, including photos, posts, and messages. Go to Settings > Your Facebook Information > Download Your Information.
- Deactivation Option: If you're not sure about permanently deleting your account, you can temporarily deactivate it. This will hide your profile and content but allow you to reactivate it later.
- Permanent Deletion: Once you delete your account, it will be in a deactivation phase for 30 days. During this period, you can log in to cancel the deletion. After 30 days, your account and all your information will be permanently deleted and you won’t be able to retrieve it.
